超越存在（德：Transzendenz）德国雅斯贝斯用语。指与自我存在对立的绝对的他物，是一切存在样式中的最高存在，即神。认为超越存在没有原因，是在自身中建立起来的。它具有统一性、现实性、完满性、永恒性，不在时间和空间之中。自我存在从普遍意识通过实存与精神而达到生存，即从世界中的存在转到可能的存在。在生存中，自我存在领悟到自身之外的绝对物的存在，发现生存是超越存在所赠予的存在（金炳华，冯契，2001：151）。认为生存与超越存在之间的关系是内在关系，没有生存的存在就没有超越的存在，反之，没有超越的存在也就没有生存的存在。认为超越存在与生存的对立是可能与现实的对立，超越存在是生存所追求的目标。生存要获得现实性只有通过与超越存在发生关系，世界的杂乱要想得到统一只有通过超越存在的统一性。认为作为有限的人要以有限的方式去把握超越存在是不可能的，因为概念、范畴、判断、推理只能认识有限之物，不能把握永恒的现实。人在认识中遇到的是永远达不到的边界，这种边界就是边缘状态（冯契，徐孝通，2000：805）。
