讲唱文学文体之一。词文即后世一部分只唱不说的词话、弹词的渊源所自，唱词者即称词人。
A genre of chanting literature found in the Dunhuang manuscripts. Lyric texts are long narrative poems in the form of lyrics, meant to be sung; they were passed on to later generations, and they are where tanci (string ballads), a form of storytelling to the accompaniment of stringed instruments, originated. The singer of lyric texts is referred to as a ci ren (lyric man or lyric singer).
