花盆鼓【英】

Flowerpot Drum

定义

鼓腔上大下小、腰部略细，呈花盆形状，两面蒙皮，鼓面平形。仅在安西东千佛洞第7窟(西夏)经变乐队中发现一件。鼓身绘制图纹，花盆鼓悬挂在鼓架上，鼓架四柱上端各装饰一朵开放的莲花，颇为美观，一菩萨乐伎跪地，持双褪敲击演奏。花盆鼓和架子及演奏者融为一体，颇具艺术性。

The cavity is shaped with broad top and slim waist and looks like a flowerpot. The two sides are covered with parallel leathers. This drum is only found in No.7 Thousand Buddha Caves in east Anxi. The drum is hung to the drum stand with patterns painted on its body. The four feet of the stand are decorated with a lotus in full bloom respectively, which make it look even more aesthetic. A Buddhist musician sits with kneels down and plays it with “Tui” in both hands. The picture of the drum, stand and the musician are full of sense of art.
