古代服装之一。袖长至腕，两裾(前襟)平行而不合缝，两腋下开有长衩。女子背子，长与裙等。上织绣凤鸟等花纹。

It is a form of ancient costume. The sleeves reach the waist. The fronts are not sewn up, and there are long slits under the two armpits. The beizi for women could be as long as the garment’s hemline, with embroidered phoenixes or other patterns.
