羌笛也被称为羌管，竖着吹奏，两管发出同样的音高，音色清脆高亢，并带有悲凉之感，最适于独奏，也可为歌舞伴奏。

It is also called a Qiang Tube. The musician stands up when playing it. The two tubes of the flute give out sounds of the same pitch, which renders a feeling of sadness. It is suitable for playing both at solo and group music performances.
