又称因缘、缘。敦煌俗文学讲唱故事类作品体裁之一。是一种说唱佛经中故事而不是读解经文的底本，文体亦为散韵相间，但不诵读经文。

Also known as yinyuan or yuan, it is a genre of speaking and singing performance in Dunhuang folk literature that focuses on telling stories from Buddhist scriptures rather than interpreting the scriptures. It often features a combination of prose sentences and rhymed lines. Sutras were not included in the chanting of the stories.
