我国古代一种管乐器，也就是所谓的竹埙，是一种低音吹奏乐器。六孔（包括上出孔）、底端封闭、横吹，与笛有异。其音浑厚、文雅而庄重，是我国古代雅乐主要乐器之一。

Chi, also known as bamboo xun, is a kind of wind instrument with a low pitch. It has six holes (including the upper opening) and a closed end; it is played horizontally, producing a sound that is simple, elegant, and solemn. It was one of the main instruments for court music in ancient China.
