Murals depicting boy-like flying figures born within lotus flowers in the Pure Land (a place where a Buddha lives). These figures are nude except for their shawls, and they dance amid celestial clouds and scattering flowers. They were first drawn during the Western Wei period, and further featured during the Sui, the Tang, the Five Dynasties and the Western Xia dynasties.
