定义

“渗透”，即本指液体从物体的细小空隙中透过，主要比喻一种事物或势力逐渐进入到其他方面（一般用于抽象事物）。因此，相互渗透便是指几种事物或势力之间两两逐渐互相影响、互相关联。是指对立面之间互相包含，互相贯通，你中有我，我中有你，是矛盾同一性表现的一种具体情形，主要指一种关联性、影响性关系。例如生产与消费的关系，生产过程不是孤立绝对的，其中包含了劳动者的体力、原料、工具等等的消费过程，同样在劳动者消费生活资料的过程也包含着劳动力的再生产过程（高清海，1988：538）。对于对立面的相互渗透，其对立面之间并不是绝对的，反而是相互联系着的，双方有着互相贯通的关系，对立双方在一定条件下可以相互转化。例如，矛盾的双方相互渗透。矛盾着的每一方都包含和渗透着对方的因素和属性，你中有我、我中有你，此中有彼、彼中有此。还有如吸引中有排斥，排斥中有吸引；化合中有分解，分解中有化合；同化中有异化，异化中有同化；遗传中有变异，变异中有遗传；感性认识中有理性认识，理性认识中有感性认识；绝对真理中有相对真理，相对真理中有绝对真理等等都说明矛盾双方的相互渗透。矛盾的相互渗透是其双方相互贯通的一种表现，是矛盾双方在分子、因素或部分上的相互包含、相互交叉。
