定义

法律规范是指通过国家的立法机关制定的或者认可的，用以指导，约束人们行为的行为规范的一种。它是法学研究和法律实践的基础，可以说它是连接理论法学和实践法学的桥梁。法学家对于法律规范的理性分析和思考，其本质并非仅仅是用以指导实践，而更重要的要是通过这种研究来加强法律人在法律实践中的论证，推理能力。可以说，法律规范，是指由国家制定或认可，并由国家强制力保证实施的行为规则；是指由国家制定或认可的，反映国家意志的，具体规定权利义务及法律后果的行为准则。法律规范是明确具体的，并且有着较为严格的内部逻辑结构。法律原则往往比较抽象，不具备法律规范的逻辑结构，它不预先设定具体的假定条件，更没有设定明确的法律后果，只对人的行为设定一些概括性的要求或标准。法律规范主要是规范性的，是针对具体的事项提出具体要求，是特定时期立法者调整社会关系的意图的体现，较容易为立法者设计或改变；而法律原则具有相对的稳定性和权威性。法律规范是一般的行为规则。它所针对的不是个别的、特定的事或人，而是适用于大量同类的事或人；不是适用一次就完结，而是多次适用的一般规则。至于只适用于某一具体的事或人的具体命令或判决，虽然也具有必须遵守的性质，但它不是法律规范，是法律规范在具体条件下的适用，是非规范性的文件。强调法律规范与非规范性文件的区别，对防止行政、司法专横，维护法制具有重要意义。（法律规范. via: http://baike.so.com/doc/1495227-1581132.html）。
