Paiban (Clapper)

定义

打击类木质体鸣乐器。亦称檀板、掉板，简称板。由长条木板数片缀合（一般四至六片），双手对击发声。

A wooden percussion idiophone, also known as the tanban (wooden clappers), diaoban or ban for short. It consists of several (usually four to six) wooden chips which are tied together. The instrument produces clacking sounds when it is clapped.
