定义

抽象同一性是事物本身的一种规定性，是思维运动中必经的一个阶段，是事物单一质的规定性在思维中的反映。客观存在的事物都是由多种规定性构成的，但是人类思维不可能一下子把握住事物多种规定性之统一整体，只有先分别把握单一的质的规定性、各部分，进而才能把握整体。这种抽象同一性形成的是抽象概念，是把整体的各种特点、属性、关系抽取出来，予以确定的、定量化的规定。思维只有在经过抽象同一性之同一律的规范后，才能形成抽象的规定。抽象同一性“是认识由感性具体到抽象的必经一步，只有在这一步的基础上，认识才由抽象向理性具体提升，才能进入真正辩证思维的入口处，向具体同一性发展”（李淮春，1996：68）。“抽象同一性和绝对同一性不同，它并不否定事物内部的差异和矛盾，而只是撇开这些差异和矛盾，即不去研究、考察这些差异和矛盾。抽象同一性也和具体同一性不同，它并不把事物的同一看作是有差异、矛盾于其自身的同一，因而也就不会从同一与差异的对立统一中去看待事物、研究事物”（彭漪涟，2010：613）。从抽象同一性出发导向的是一种知性思维，即只承认概念的确定性和不变性，而不知概念的灵活性和流动性，只能认识事物“非此即彼”的一面，不能认识事物同时也具有“亦此亦彼”的一面，如同恩格斯所指出的，“抽象的同一性，像形而上学的一切范畴一样，对日常应用来说是足够的，在这里所考察的只是很小的范围和很短的时间”（马克思等，2012：538）。但是一旦超出日常范围和相对静止的时间界限，抽象同一性便陷入到不能自拔的矛盾中。
