Fu Headscarf

又称巾子、头巾或折上巾。古代男子首服之一。敦煌壁画中的幞头形象始自北周，终于元代，历代相承，形制不一。

It is also known as a turban, headscarf, or folded towel, a type of male headwear in ancient times. Images of the fu turban in the Dunhuang murals originated in the Northern Zhou Dynasty, and ended in the Yuan Dynasty. They were passed on from one generation to the other with varied forms.
