泛指利用空气在管体流动而发音的乐器。我国吹奏乐器大多为竹制或木制。其声音响亮，色彩鲜明，能够演奏流畅的旋律，在民族合奏中占有重要地位，常用于演奏主旋律，也常用于独奏。
