定义

双头垄断通常指双卖主垄断的情形。表示一种商品只有两家卖主的市场结构。在存在双卖主垄断的情况下，由于市场上只存在两家厂商，他们生产相同的产品并且具有大致相同的成本状况，他们面临的需求也是相同的。因此，每一个厂商在做出新的价格和产量决策时，一般必须考虑到另一家厂商可能的反映。在双卖主垄断市场上，两家厂商具有较大的相互依赖性，因此，双卖主垄断者比较容易达成默契或勾结以确定一个共同价格，限制产量或划分市场份额。常见的双卖者垄断模型包括古诺双头垄断模型、伯特兰双头垄断模型和斯塔科伯格双头垄断模型。（胡代光等，1996：78）
