Ritual of Sutra Preaching for Lay People

僧人通俗化讲经的固有仪规。大致由法师主讲，都讲陪同读经文，都讲转读一段所持经文，法师则以通俗化的散韵相间的词句讲唱解释这段经文。

Refers to the prescribed procedure for monks in delivering sutra preaching for lay people. Basically the preaching is given by a Dharma Master, accompanied by an assistant Dharma Master (dujiang), who assists in reciting and chanting scriptures. When the latter finishes reciting a section of the sutra, the Dharma Master will interpret its meaning by speaking and singing a mixture of poem and prose lines in clear language.
