Tusita Heaven

定义

欲界第四层天之名，为补处菩萨的住处，补处菩萨常由此天下生而成佛，今为弥勒菩萨的净土。

The term refers to the fourth of the six heavens of the desire realm. This heaven is a place of preparation where Ekajatipratibuddha (future “buddhas-to-be”) live, practice and await their entry into the physical world. Maitreya is said to be waiting there now.
