壁画设色专用方法。整面凸起然后贴金叫堆金，如成线条状凸起的花纹叫沥粉。常用于佛及菩萨的衣冠花纹、璎珞等佩饰物及装饰图案上。

Lifen-Duijin Technique (Plaster-Squeezing and Gilding): a special method for mural coloring. Lifen is the making of embossed patterns, by squeezing lines made of plaster mixed with glue onto a painting. Duijin refers to the applying of fine gold leaf or powder to the whole raised surface. This coloring technique is often adopted for patterns on the crowns or robes of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, jewelry such as jade or pearl necklaces, and certain decorative patterns.
