Liang Sicheng

广东新会人，梁启超长子。建国后，任清华大学教授，中国建筑学会副理事长，1955年当选中国科学院技术科学部委员。1932年，论述敦煌建筑，开辟敦煌研究的新领域。

A native of Xinhui, Guangdong Province. He was the eldest son of Liang Qichao. After the founding of the new China, he became a professor at Tsinghua University and the vice-president of the Architectural Society of China. In 1955 he was elected as a member of the Division of Technological Sciences, at the Chinese Academy of Science. In 1932 he published papers on the architecture of Dunhuang, opening up a new field of Dunhuang studies.
