信徒跪拜礼佛时往往会发现佛像头小、胸部突出，为了达到理想的视觉效果，工匠会把巨型彩塑头部比例增大，上身前倾，腹部后收，使朝拜时看到的形象更加真实。

Kneeling before sculptures of the Buddha, people tend to have the perspective that the Buddha’s head is smaller while his chest is more prominent. In order to produce the best visual effect, craftsmen enlarged the head and made the upper body lean forward slightly so that each sculpture would look balanced and correctly proportioned in the eyes of those who worship him.
