Gou Garment

定义

古代射手服装。凡因射着左臂，谓之射鞴，非射而两臂皆着之，以便于事，谓之鞴，其字或作鞴。

It is a form of military dress for ancient archers. The archers wore it on the left arm when they shot arrows, so it was called a shooting arm guard. They also wore them on both arms when they were not shooting.
