‘一叶蔽目,不见太山。’{‘A leaf before the eye shuts out Mount Taishan.’ (Heguanzi·Law of Heaven);}〈比喻fig.〉为局部的或暂时的现象所迷惑,不能认清事物的全貌或问题的本质。{be baffled by a local or temporary phenomenon; fail to see the whole picture of a thing or the essence of a question clearly; have one's view of the important overshadowed by the trivial;}也说also一叶障目{yī yè zhàng mù}。 |
