内海nèihǎi
1.除了有狭窄水道跟外海或大洋相通外,全部为陆地所包围的海,如地中海、波罗的海等。{continental sea; sea surrounded by land and with or without a narrow river to link with an outer sea or ocean, such as the Mediterranean and the Baltic Sea;}也叫also内陆海{nèilùhǎi}。
2.沿岸全属于一个国家因而本身也属于该国家的海,如渤海是我国的内海。{inland sea; sea with its shoreline belonging entirely to one nation, such as the Bohai Sea of China} |
