黔驴之技Qián lǘ zhī jì唐朝柳宗元的《三戒·黔之驴》说,黔(现在贵州一带)这个地方没有驴,有人从外地带来一头,因为用不着,放在山下。老虎看见驴个子很大,又听见它的叫声很响,起初很害怕,老远就躲开。后来逐渐接近它,驴只踢了老虎一脚。老虎看见驴的技能只不过如此,就把它吃了。后来就用‘黔驴之技’ 比喻虚有其表,本领有限。{tricks of the Guizhou donkey; cheap tricks; According to the Three Cautionary Tales·The Donkey of Guizhou by Liu Zongyuan of the Tang Dynasty, there were no donkeys in the Guizhou region until someone brought one from somewhere else and abandoned it at the foot of a mountain, for he did not need it.
