锻铁duàntiě含碳量在0.15%以下的铁,用生铁精炼而成,有韧性、延性,强度较低,容易锻造和焊接,不能淬火。用来制造铆钉、链条、镰刀等。{wrought iron, containing less than 0.15 per cent carbon, refined from pig iron, ready to forge and weld but incapable of being quenched, used to make nails, chains, sickles, etc.;}也叫also熟铁{shútiě}。 |
