先河xiānhé古代帝王先祭祀黄河,后祭祀海,以河为海的本源(见《礼记·学记》)。后来称倡导在先的事物为先河{originating river of the sea; the beginning of sth.; sth. that is first proposed or initiated. According to the rites of ancient times, the emperors or kings offered sacrifices first to the Yellow River and then to the sea, regarding the river as the origin of the sea (The Book of Rites·Rites of Education)}: 他主演《茶花女》等西洋名剧,开国人演话剧之~。{He starred in Camille and other Western classics to be a forerunner of the Chinese in performing the modern drama.} |
