读破dúpò同一个字形因意义不同而有两个或几个读音的时候,不照习惯上最通常的读音来读,叫做读破,如‘长幼’的‘长’不读cháng而读zhǎng,‘喜好’的‘好’不读hǎo而读hào。zhǎng、hào的音叫做破读。读破了的字叫破读字。{pronounce a Chinese character in one or more variant ways different from the most generally known articulation and with different meaning(s). For example, the character 长 in 长幼zhǎngyòu is pronounced zhǎng, not its most common pronunciation cháng; 好 in 喜好xǐhào is pronounced hào, not hǎo.
