胡椒hújiāo
1.常绿藤本植物,叶子卵形或长椭圆形,花黄色。果实小,球形,成熟时红色。未成熟果实干后果皮变黑,叫黑胡椒;成熟的果实去皮后色白,叫白胡椒。有辣味,是调味品,又可入药。{pepper (Piper nigrum); evergreen jointed climbing shrub with ovate or oblong ovate leaves, yellow flowers, and small, round fruit which turns red when ripe; usu. used as pungent condiment or material for medicine; the immature pepper seed with the black husk still on is known as black pepper; the ripe pepper seed after the black husk is removed is known as white pepper}
