禅宗chánzōng我国佛教宗派之一,以静坐默念为修行方法。相传南朝宋末(五世纪)由印度和尚菩提达摩传入我国,唐宋时极盛。{Chan Sect; Zen Buddhism (of Japan); one of the Buddhist sects in China that advocates achieving enlightenment through meditation and silent reciting of Buddhist sutras.
