祖率zǔlǜ南北朝时祖冲之算出圆周率的近似值在3.1415926和3.1415927之间,并提出圆周率的疏率为22/7,密率为355/113。为了纪念祖冲之,把他算出的近似值叫做祖率。{approximate ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter as calculated by Zu Chongzhi (429-500) in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, i.e. between 3.1415926 and 3.1415927. He also asserted that the loose ratio is 22/7 and the close ratio is 355/113. In order to honour him, the approximate ratio he calculated is dubbed Zu's ratio.} |
