破镜重圆pò jìng chóng yuán南朝陈代将要灭亡的时候,驸马徐德言把一个铜镜破开,跟妻子乐昌公主各藏一半,预备失散后当做信物,以后果然由这个线索而夫妻团聚(见唐代孟棨《本事诗》)。后来用‘破镜重圆’比喻夫妻失散或决裂后重又团圆。{broken mirror joined together — reunion of husband and wife after an imposed separation or rupture.
