栎(櫟)lì落叶乔木,叶子长椭圆形,花黄褐色,雄花是柔荑花序,坚果球形。叶子可饲柞蚕,木材可以做枕木、制家具,树皮含有鞣酸,可以做染料。{oak (Quercus); deciduous tree with long, olive-shaped leaves, yellowish brown flowers (male flowers are borne in catkin inflorescence) and spheric nuts, leaves that feed tussah, wood used for railway sleepers and furniture, and bark containing tannic acid for dyestuffs;}也叫also麻栎{málì}或{or}橡{xiàng}。通称{commonly called}柞树{zuòshù}。
