景泰蓝jǐngtàilán我国特种工艺品之一,用紫铜做成器物的胎,把铜丝掐成各种花纹焊在铜胎上,填上珐琅彩釉,然后烧成。明代景泰年间在北京开始大量制造,珐琅彩釉多用蓝色,所以叫景泰蓝。{cloisonné enamel; cloisonné; a type of Chinese handicraft that involves soldering strips of flattened thin copper bands edgeways onto the surface of a red-copper ornamental object or utensil to form the desired patterns, filling the cells thus formed with enamel of various colours, and firing it in an oven.
