五卅运动Wǔ-Sà Yùndòng中国人民在共产党领导下进行的反帝运动。1925年5月30日,上海群众游行示威,抗议日本纱厂的资本家枪杀领导罢工的共产党员顾正红,到公共租界时遭到英国巡捕的开枪射击。共产党领导上海各界罢工、罢课、罢市,各地纷纷响应,形成了全国性的反帝高潮。{May 30th Movement (1925); anti-imperialist movement launched by the Chinese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. People in Shanghai took to the streets on May 30, 1925 in protest against a Japanese cotton mill owner's killing of Gu Zhenghong, a Communist who was leading a strike, and were fired at by British police when the procession marched to the International Settlement. The Communist Party led people in all walks of life in Shanghai on a city-wide strike involving workers, students and shopkeepers. It evoked response from all parts of the country, resulting in a nationwide anti-imperialist upsurge.} |
