一尘不染yī chén bù rǎn
1.佛家称色、声、香、味、触、法为六尘,修道的人不被六尘所玷污,叫做一尘不染。泛指人品纯洁,丝毫没沾染坏习气。{not soiled by a speck of dust; maintain one's pure character. Buddhists call objects of the senses (form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and perception of character) the ‘six worldly environments,' and a Buddhist not contaminated by these six worldly environments is described as :
‘一尘不染’.}
2.借指环境非常清洁{spotlessly clean; very clean}:
屋子里窗明几净,～。{The room is spotlessly clean with bright windows and clean tables.} |
