拢（攏）lǒnɡ

1.凑起，总合 add up; sum up：～共 lǒnggòng all together; in all/ ～总 lǒngzǒng all together
2.靠近，船只靠岸 approach; (of ships) pull into shore ( comb. 靠- kào- draw close)：靠～ kàolǒng keep close to/ ～岸 lǒng'àn (of a ship) come alongside the shore/ 拉～ lālǒng draw sb over to one's side; win over/ 他们俩总谈不～ Tāmen liǎ zǒng tán bu lǒng. They two talked but never agreed with each other.
3.收束使不松散 hold (or gather) together：～紧 lǒngjǐn hold (sth.) tight/ 用绳子把柴火～住 Yòng shéngzi bǎ cháihuo lǒngzhù. Tie the firewood in a bundle.
4.梳，用梳子整理头发 comb.：～一～头发 lǒng yī lǒng tóufɑ comb the hair
5.合上，聚拢 bring together; close：笑得嘴都合不～了 xiào de zuǐ dōu hé bu lǒng le grin from ear to ear |
