1.必定，一定 surely：～能成功 bì néng chénggōng can surely succeed/ 骄兵～败 jiāobīng-bìbài An army puffed up with pride is bound to lose. ［必需 -xū］不可少的 essential; indispensable：～～品 bìxūpǐn necessities; necessaries ［必然 -rán］必定如此 inevitable; certain：种族歧视制度～～要灭亡 Zhǒngzú qíshì zhìdù bìrán yào mièwáng. The system of racial discrimination will certainly perish.
2.必须，一定要 must;need：事～躬亲 shìbìgōngqīn attend to everything personally/ 不～着急 bùbì zháojí You needn't worry. ［必须 -xū］一定要 must：个人利益～～服从集体利益 Gèrén lìyì bìxū fúcóng jítǐ lìyì. Personal interests must be subordinated to the interests of the collective. |
