屈qū

1.使弯曲，跟“伸”相反 bend; bow, antonym of shēn (stretch)：～指可数 qūzhǐ-kěshǔ can be counted on one's fingers (fig. very few) ［屈戌 -xū］［屈戌儿 -qur］门窗箱柜等上面两个脚的小环儿，多用来挂锁、钌铞等 small metal ring on a door, window, chest, box, etc., used for hanging lock and hasp, etc.
2.低头，屈服 subdue; submit：威武不能～ wēiwǔ bù néng qū not to be subdued by force/ 宁死不～ nìngsǐ-bùqū rather die than surrender
3.委屈 wrong; injustice：受～ shòuqū be wronged ext. 冤枉 wrong; treat unjustly ( comb. 冤- yuān- wrong)：叫～ jiàoqū complain of being wronged; protest against an injustice |
