1.善良，品质或言行好 good; virtuous：心～ xīnshàn kind-hearted/ ～举 shànjǔ philanthropic act or project/ ～事 shànshì charitable deeds; good deeds
2.好的行为、品质，跟“恶”相反 good behaviour or quality, antonym of "malicious, evil or fiendish"：行～ xíngshàn do good; practise philanthropy/ 劝～规过 quànshàn-guīguò exhort sb. to do good and correct his mistakes
3.交好，和好 make friends with; become reconciled：友～ yǒushàn friendly/ 相～ xiāngshàn be kind and helpful to each other ext. 熟习 familiar：面～ miànshàn look familiar
