1.1.没有，无 not have; there is not：他～哥哥 Tā méi gēge. He doesn't have any elder brother./ 我～那本书 Wǒ méi nà běn shū. I don't have that book. 2.表示估量或比较，不够，不如 (guessing or comparing) be not so ... as; be less than：他～（不够）一米八高 Tā méi yī mǐ bā gāo. He is less than 1.8 metres tall./ 汽车～（不如）飞机快 Qìchē méi fēijī kuài. The automobile runs not so fast as the plane.
2.没有，不曾，未（在句尾时用“没有”） have not or did not (written as méiyǒu at the end of a sentence)：他们～做完 Tāmen méi zuòwán. They haven't finished it yet./ 你去过上海～有 Nǐ qùguo Shànghǎi méiyǒu? Have you ever been to Shanghai? mò |
